Renovation & Interior Design

Website Design For
Renovation Firms

Renovation is a show-me business. Nobody hands over a five-figure job because your copy is persuasive — they hand it over because they have seen work like theirs, done well, by you. So a renovation website is really a proof machine: completed projects, honest before-and-after images, and a quote form that tells you enough to know whether the job is worth quoting.

A Real One We Built

What We Built For A2Z Design & Renovation

A2Z Design & Renovation website

Interior Design · Selangor & KL

  • Six services laid out separately — full home, kitchen, bathroom, interior design, office and commercial, carpentry and joinery
  • A Completed Projects section with real jobs, including a nail salon, a car detailing workshop and a studio fit-out
  • A before-and-after slider, so the transformation is the argument
  • A Request a Free Quote form capturing property type, renovation scope and budget range — not just a name and email
  • WhatsApp contact throughout, plus a stated service area of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur
  • The company's ROC registration number displayed, which matters for a trade where trust is the barrier

Your portfolio is the sales pitch

Most renovation enquiries begin with a homeowner trying to answer one question: has this contractor done something like my job before? If your site cannot answer that in about ten seconds, they move on to the next contractor.

That is why project galleries should be organised by the kind of job rather than by date. Somebody planning a kitchen wants to see kitchens. A business owner fitting out a shop wants to see commercial work, not condominium bedrooms.

Before-and-after pairs do more work than finished photos alone, because they show the starting condition. A beautiful finished kitchen could have been a beautiful kitchen already. The same kitchen shown before makes the value of what you did unmistakable.

Qualify the lead in the form, not on the phone

The most expensive thing in a renovation business is time spent quoting jobs that were never going to happen — a budget that is half the realistic cost, or a property type you do not work on.

A form that asks only for a name and phone number pushes all of that discovery onto a call. A form that asks for property type, scope and budget range does the filtering before you pick up the phone, and lets you walk into the conversation already knowing roughly what you are dealing with.

A2Z's quote form does exactly this, and it is the single change we would recommend to most renovation firms running a bare contact form.

Trust signals matter more in this trade than most

Renovation carries genuine risk for a customer: large deposits, contractors who disappear mid-job, work that cannot be undone. Malaysian homeowners know this, and they are looking for reasons to believe you before they are looking for design flair.

Practical things help disproportionately — a visible company registration number, a clearly stated service area, real project photos rather than stock imagery, and a physical presence that can be verified. These are unglamorous details that quietly do more for conversion than another animation.

Search intent here is local and specific

People rarely search “renovation”. They search “kitchen renovation Puchong”, “office renovation contractor KL”, “wet kitchen extension cost”. That is good news, because those searches are far less contested than the generic term and the intent behind them is much stronger.

Structurally that argues for giving your main services their own pages rather than listing them on one page, so each can target the search that matches it. It is slower than a one-page site, but it is the difference between being findable for one phrase and being findable for a dozen.

FAQ

Common Questions

How much does a renovation company website cost in Malaysia?

From RM 800 for a single page and RM 1,500 for a five-page site. Renovation firms often end up around RM 3,500 because giving each service its own page is worth it for search. You get a fixed quote in writing before work starts.

How many project photos do I need?

Three to five completed projects is enough to launch, with four to six photos each. Quality and variety matter more than volume — one kitchen, one bathroom and one commercial fit-out prove more range than ten of the same room.

Should the quote form ask about budget?

We think so. It is the field most contractors are nervous about and the one that saves the most time, because it filters out enquiries that were never viable. Asking for a range rather than an exact figure keeps it comfortable to answer.

Do I need a page for every service?

Not to launch, but it is the main upgrade that drives search traffic. People search “kitchen renovation [area]” rather than “renovation”, and a dedicated page can rank for that where a list item on a shared page usually cannot.

How long does it take?

Three to seven days for a single-page site once your project photos are ready, and one to two weeks for a fuller build. Gathering and sorting project photography is almost always the slowest part.
